Quasi-Periodic Pulsations Detected in Ly $\alpha $ and Nonthermal Emissions During Solar Flares

چکیده
We report quasi-periodic pulsations (QPPs) with double periods during three solar flares (viz. SOL2011-Feb-15T01:44, SOL2011-Sep-25T04:31, SOL2012-May-17T01:25). The flare QPPs were observed from light curves in Ly$\alpha$, hard X-ray (HXR) and microwave emissions, the Ly$\alpha$ emission recorded by Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite, HXR Reuven Ramaty High-Energy Solar Spectroscopic Imager Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor, Nobeyama Radio Polarimeters Radioheliograph. By using Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method, of about two minutes one minute first found emission. Then same a QPP nearly period was also emissions. Considering possible common origin (nonthermal electrons) between HXR/microwave emission, we suggest that two-minute results periodic acceleration nonthermal electrons magnetic reconnections. ratio to be close two, which is consistent theoretical expectation fundamental harmonic modes. However, cannot rule out other driving mechanisms for one-minute emissions due their relatively large deviations.

Broadband Quasi-Periodic Radio and X-ray Pulsations in a Solar Flare
We describe microwave and hard X-ray observations of strong quasiperiodic pulsations from the GOES X1.3 solar flare on 15 June 2003. The radio observations were made jointly by the Owens Valley Solar Array (OVSA), the Nobeyama Polarimeter (NoRP), and the Nobeyama Radioheliograph (NoRH). Hard X-ray observations were made by the Ramaty High Energy Solar Spectroscopic Imager (RHESSI). Using Fourie...
متن کاملInvestigation of quasi - periodic variations in hard X - rays of solar flares
The aim of the present paper is to use quasi-periodic oscillations in hard X-rays (HXRs) of solar flares as a diagnostic tool for investigation of impulsive electron acceleration. We have selected a number of flares which showed quasi-periodic oscillations in hard X-rays and their loop-top sources could be easily recognized in HXR images. We have considered MHD standing waves to explain the obs...
متن کاملQuasi - separatrix layers in solar flares II . Observed magnetic configurations
Weshow that the location ofHα orOVflare brightenings is related to the properties of the field-line linkage of the underlying magnetic region. The coronal magnetic field is extrapolated from the observed photospheric field assuming a linear force-free field configuration in order to determine the regions of rapid change in field-line linkage, called “quasi-separatrix layers” or QSLs. They are o...
متن کاملQuasi-periodic X-ray Flares from the Protostar Ylw15
With ASCA, we have detected three X-ray flares from the Class I protostar YLW15. The flares occurred every ∼20 hours and showed an exponential decay with time constant 30–60 ks. The X-ray spectra are explained by a thin thermal plasma emission. The plasma temperature shows a fast-rise and slow-decay for each flare with kTpeak ∼ 4–6 keV. The emission measure of the plasma shows this time profile...
متن کاملEvidence that Synchrotron Emission from Nonthermal Electrons Produces the Increasing Submillimeter Spectral Component in Solar Flares
We investigate the origin of the increasing spectra observed at submillimeter wavelengths detected in the flare on 2 November 2003 starting at 17:17 UT. This flare, classified as an X8.3 and 2B event, was simultaneously detected by RHESSI and the Solar Submillimeter Telescope (SST) at 212 and 405 GHz. Comparison of the time profiles at various wavelengths shows that the submillimeter emission r...
